The significance of phonetically representative texts in the study of the individuality of voice and speech of speakers in the analysis of the acoustic parameters of the timbre of the voice from experimental speech phonograms in order to search for signs that individualize the speaker's personality is considered. The results of the study of the most common texts from the position of phonetic representativeness and balance, the naturalness of the functioning of the speech apparatus and the temporary load on it in the process of voicing texts are presented. To implement the planned scientific research on the analysis of the acoustic parameters of the voice timbre, a corpus of phonetically representative texts has been compiled, consisting of well-known lexical materials and a special text including phonetic units missing in the original material.

[The possibilities for the use of the spectral analysis to overcome the incompatibility of the speech materials for the purpose of medical criminalistic identification of the speaker]. / Vozmozhnosti spektral'nogo analiza v preodolenii nesopostavimosti rechevogo materiala pri provedenii mediko-kriminalisticheskoi identifikatsii govoriashchego.

The objective of the present study was the formulation of the theoretical premises on which to base the approaches to the overcoming of the limitations not infrequently imposed on the sound records of the speech material of interest. The secondary objective was the development of the methods for this purpose. We analyzed the literature sources, the methodological instructive regulations, and the results of medical criminalistics investigations. The study has demonstrated that the spectral analysis of the speech materials provides a reliable tool for overcoming the incomplete (by force of different causes) compatibility between the initial phonograms and those under consideration for the purpose of forensic medical expertise with a view to the identification of personality of the speaker.

[The spectral analysis as an instrument for the investigation of the functional-dynamic complexes of oral speech skills for the medical criminalistic identification of the speaker]. / Spektral'nyi analiz kak instrument issledovaniya funktsional'no-dinamicheskikh kompleksov ustno-rechevykh navykov v zadache mediko-kriminalisticheskoi identifikatsii govoryashchego.

The objective of the present work was the search for the theoretical foundations and the approaches to the assessment of the methodological basis for the application of the spectral analysis to the investigation of the functional-dynamic complexes (FDC) of oral speech skills for the medical criminalistic identification of the speaker. The study included the analysis of the relevant literature publications, methodological proposals of the authors of the present article, and the results of their medical criminalistics investigations and laboratory experiments. The results of the study give evidence that the spectral analysis provides an acceptable tool for distinguishing the stable identification signs of a given acoustic group that characterize the functional-dynamic complexes of oral speech skills skills for the medical criminalistic identification of the speaker.

The objective of the present article is to discuss the theoretical foundations and the methodological basis for the use of the apparatus of spectral analysis for the purpose of medico-criminalistic personality identification from the characteristics of the subject's voice and sounding speech. The article is based on the review of the literature sources and the methodological approaches developed by the author.

[The auditory analysis in the context of the problem of medico-criminalistic identification of the speaker].

This article was designed to discuss the theoretical foundations and methodological basis of the auditory component of the comprehensive medico-criminalistic study aimed at the identification of the speaker from his (her) voice and speech. The article is based on the literature data and the materials of forensic and criminalistic examination carried out by the author.

[The application of cybernetic modeling methods for the forensic medical personality identification based on the voice and sounding speech characteristics].

The objective of the present publication was to discuss the possibility of application of cybernetic modeling methods to overcome the apparent discrepancy between two kinds of the speech records, viz. initial ones (e.g. obtained in the course of special investigation activities) and the voice prints obtained from the persons subjected to the criminalistic examination. The paper is based on the literature sources and the materials of original criminalistics expertises performed by the authors.

[On the use of the spectral speech characteristics for the determination of biometric parameters of the vocal tract in forensic medical identification of the speaker's personality].

The objective of the present study was to elucidate the relationship between the spectral speech characteristics and the biometric parameters of the speaker's vocal tract. The secondary objective was to consider the theoretical basis behind the medico-criminalistic personality identification from the biometric parameters of the speaker's vocal tract. The article is based on the results of real forensic medical investigations and the literature data.

[The use of the functional dynamic complex of verbal skills for the purpose of forensic medical personality identification of the speaker].

The objective of this work was to analyse the functional dynamic complex (FDC) of verbal skills and to substantiate the possibility of using such complexes for personality identification of the speaker. The problems of formation, manifestations, and stability of verbal skill FDCs as well as their role as a source of medico-criminalistic information are discussed. This report is based on the review of the literature publications and materials of practical forensic medical investigations.
